For Achema 2024 in Frankfurt, pixellab. developed the "valveExplorer" for LESER GmbH & Co. KG from Hamburg - a browser-based interactive 3D application for the digital presentation of the product range.
Europe's largest manufacturer of safety valves presents the "Digital Twin", the virtual counterpart of the safety valve, at eight stations next to each physical product type.
The touchscreen application allows users to look inside the valve and explains how it works in detail using a combination of an animated 3D model, interactive 2D diagrams and physical flow simulations - all of which can be freely controlled by the user.
Numerous subtypes, options and designs are also integrated into the application: Image and text content is aggregated directly from the central LESER PIM (Product Information Management Tool) and is easy for our customer to update themselves.
At the end of the trade fair „valveExplorer“ is freely available, optimized for desktop and mobile devices. The application can optionally be installed as a Progressive Web App (PWA) - all content can therefore be accessed offline for worldwide sales.
In just three months of development time, the "valveExplorer" is an important contribution to digital transformation, with which pixellab. supports another medium-sized company in presenting itself as a modern technology leader.
Update 2025: valveExplorer appears also in a prominent position at Hannover Messe 2025: LESER presents itself at the SAP booth as a pioneer for digital twins in the field of industrial valves, hand in hand with the consulting tool we have implemented - pixellab., a partner for innovative SMEs in digital transformation.
