Special features
The existing online store from 2020 had to be made accessible due to the new legal requirements of the BFSG.
A few extra features were also implemented as part of the new implementation of the accessible theme:
- Reminder function and waiting list for unavailable products
- Direct contact on each product page for specific questions about the product
- Modernized shopping cart and checkout process
- Fast Ajax search for products and categories
- Introduction of trust badges in relevant places
- Visual information on stock levels and free shipping
- Introduction of colored product badges for new, reduced or otherwise highlighted products
